As adults age, their skin becomes grayer, looser, and less youthful. Fortunately, a Vampire Facelift® can help restore color, vibrancy, and a youthful shape to the face. South Texas Women’s Health & Medical Spa offers safe, effective Vampire Facelifts to adults in Uvalde, Texas, who want noticeable, lasting results without surgery.
The Vampire Facelift uses your own blood to improve the shape and overall appearance of your face. Although this treatment is more invasive than the Vampire Facial, a Vampire Facelift isn’t as invasive as cosmetic surgery. The Vampire Facelift can be performed in the comfort of the clinic, and you can go home right after your procedure is finished.
At the beginning of the Vampire Facelift procedure, the doctor injects a hyaluronic acid filler into specific locations to sculpt a more youthful, yet natural shape. Next, the doctor takes some of your blood and runs it through a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma. The doctor activates these platelets so that they release natural growth factors, which your body usually uses to heal damaged tissues.
After activating the platelets, the doctor injects the released growth factors into the skin using a specific technique. The growth factors cause stem cells already in the skin to begin producing new fatty tissue, new blood vessels, and new collagen.
During the Vampire Facelift procedure, the doctor uses a special numbing cream to keep you from feeling any pain. In addition, the needle used during this procedure is very thin, which minimizes discomfort even more.
You may notice some results from your Vampire Facelift shortly after the procedure. However, you will notice that your skin continues to improve over the next few months.
The results of the Vampire Facelift may last up to two years. If results begin to fade, you can repeat the procedure again in the future.
The Vampire Facelift may be the best option if you want to change the shape and texture of your face dramatically, but you aren’t interested in a more invasive choice like surgery. However, this procedure isn’t right for everyone. Some people may benefit more from a Vampire Facial, micro-needling, or another less invasive procedure. South Texas Women’s Health & Medical Spa can help you decide which option is the best for you.
